We purchased a WHIRLPOOL dryer right before Thanksgiving of 2017. The new dryer arrived on the 25th of November, making very loud noises. This was right before we had a house full of people. The sounds were rattling and labored. Something was obviously wrong with the "New" dryer. We called the following Monday and said, something is wrong, they said we needed to schedule someone to come out and look at it, because we could not return it. It was going to take two weeks for an appointment. Frustrated I hung up. Within that two weeks, the dryer stopped working altogether. Only because my husband took a good look at it, we hobbled a way for it to work until they could replace it. Today is January 8th-I have driven over to the store, had multiple conversations and today, I have been on the phone for 95 minutes waiting for someone to figure this out. When I drove over to Home Depot immediately before New Years to insist that we get a NEW dryer. The woman at customer service talked to the manager, and they agreed. I was to get a call from Angellina on Monday to schedule the delivery. We did talk on Monday, but whirlpool delivery was CLOSED. Multiple calls, promises, discussions and finally Angelina and I got on the phone today. We finally got someone to come to the house this Friday between 8-12 pm...to look at the dryer. So I had to start all over again INSISTING that we get a quality dryer for the $1,200. sticker price. (Or perhaps just a working one!) It has been over 6 WEEKS and this is not resolved. If you want any customer service, any respect for you as a consumer-please shop elsewhere.

The worker I asked about electrical (didn't catch his name unfortunately, he had a beard) was very helpful and knowledgeable. I knew what I needed but couldn't find it and would take a while to look through everything to see what I needed. He showed me and explained the difference in 3 different electrical box extenders and their uses. Even helped me pick out a 20a outlet and switch and showed and explained a few different ones and let me pick what I thought would work based off that and my use. I was confident in my project before, but even more confident after he helped me, something about a second opinion or giving their advise/past experience can do that it seems. I don't think I've ever had that happen anywhere (For a long time anyway) If anyone wants to know why I trusted his help. Was because he asked about the year of the house and the garage I was installing it in and knew the current and past code requirements. Along with the "dos and don'ts"
